Denver

August 28, 2008 by endodoc79

Brief post about my 2 days in Denver, with more to come later.  Arrived on Monday and met up with Hillary supporters. We had to make a stand for Democracy. There were many people who were there to support their different issues. Many protests from the right and left, including anti-war protests. There were so many police, including local and federal. There also was a lot of media, including a lot of foreign media there to cover all angles. We marched in the Rise Hillary Rise, 18 million voices parade on Tuesday and carried Hillary signs along the route. We listened to Gloria Allred talk about her inability to address her fellow California Delegates at their breakfast meeting and the fact that Hillary was not getting the same treatment as all the other male candidates that came before. She said she was sent to Denver by the voters of California to vote for Hillary and that was what she was gong to do. It was the highlight of my time in Denver- listening to someone with integrity. More thoughts later.

Just 2 weeks to go for Denver

August 10, 2008 by endodoc79

Just 2 weeks to go before the Convention starts and things are beginning to heat up. Obama continues to turn off the American electorate, though I heard he quite popular in Germany. Too bad, because he wants to be president of the United States, not chancellor of Germany. The debate over Obama’s birth certificate continues to rage- and people want to see a certified copy of such. He’s over in Hawaii right now- probably purchasing one. Can’t wait to see what it shows. Will keep you posted.

August is here

August 3, 2008 by endodoc79

Time is marching on. We are moving closer and closer to Denver. The Denver Group’s Heidi Li Feldman has been on blog radio talking about the work her group’s been doing in an attempt to have a fair and open convention in Denver starting August 25. The fundraising is ongoing because more money means more ads which means more people understand that if they don’t stand up for democracy no one will.

Just four weeks until the Convention

July 29, 2008 by endodoc79

This is crunch time folks. This is the supposed calm before the storm that will be Denver in just four weeks. We are busy writing our letters and postcards to superdelegates educating them that their only job in Denver is to pick the candidate who has the best chance to win in November against John McCain the presumptive Republican nominee. I am part of Electability Watch and I have been writing to superdelegates on a weekly basis, reminding them of the important job that have been given and to let them know that 18 million voices will be listening. There is still time for them to do the right thing and nominate Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton as Democratic Party nominee. This will bring a sure path to victory in November for the Democratic Party. Anything short of a Presidential nomination for the person who won the most votes in Democratic primary history would be thievery and would allow the Republicans to snatch victory from the jaws of a certain defeat.

NObamatopia

July 25, 2008 by endodoc79

There are many things have that have occurred this primary season that are hard to believe. Obama has been given cult-like status from some of his young followers, many of them too young to vote. But that doesn’t mean that those of us of a certain age, those of us who have been around the block a few times don’t realize that Obama is a fraud. Take a look at this tongue in cheek version of NObamatopia. We had to explain to some of his rowdy youth disciples that the video was a spoof- No Sen. Obama has not found the cure for cancer in his spare time. Seriously we need education reform.

7.23:Convention Countdown- Campaign Action day 33

July 24, 2008 by endodoc79

There are now just 33 days until the Convention in Denver. There is a lot of action going on behind the scenes. The Denver Group continues to raise money and awareness for a fair and open Convention with Hillary’s name placed in nomination. We continue to write superdelegates that Hillary would make the best president of the candidates running. There was some information from Will Bower of PUMA that more superdelegates may be switching to Hillary. This is great news. Everyone is trying to keep a low profile until the Convention, but believe me things are happening. The key- keep working, keep writing, keep talking to your friends and neighbors that Hillary is the one champion for American workers and families.

Just 5 weeks until the Convention

July 22, 2008 by endodoc79

Time is marching on. These days are critical in planning our trips to Denver and what Hillary supporters will be doing both outside and inside the Pepsi Center. The Denver Group is working overtime to publicize the need for a fair and open convention. Anything less makes the whole primary process a farce and demeans the 18 million voters who cast their ballots for Hillary, more than any other candidate in Democratic primary voting history. As we get more information will blog the details. Make your travel plans now if you have not done so already.

BlogTalkRadio

July 21, 2008 by endodoc79

The internet has allowed like minded people to band together and share ideas that are being turned into political action this election cycle. Imagine the genesis of the PUMA-Just say no deal coalition without the internet. You can’t- the information superhighway is essential to open communication. Though one must be careful on the highway, you don’t want to run afoul of a car hijacking. Another way to share ideas is via the radio, and blogtalk radio is really catching on. As for me I can’t listen to the overt propaganda on main stream media sites such as MSNBC and CNN. They are corporate entities that have been told what to say by their bosses. And for right now the coverage has been all Obama, all the time. When I read about blogtalk radio, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The ability to hear from some of the pro-Hillary bloggers that I have been reading was intriguing. I listened in to Sheri Tags with Will Bower show on Sunday and was pleasantly surprised. They talked about current PUMA news and then took some callers. Others have their own shows as well including Cristi Adkins of Clintons4McCain and Larry Johnson of noQuarter. If you miss a show you can go to the website and listen to it later. Try it out.
